Description: Placement and Marketing Officer
The intern will gain practical experience in: au pair recruitment, The intern will receive formal/informal training in the following: Sourcing and selecting candidates. Network and advertise to potential candidates. Identify skills to match appropriately with vacancies. Posting adverts. Dealing with general queries. Liaising with a whole range of people, getting as much information as possible to make the perfect match. Social Media; Twitter, LinkedIn promotions / posts. Conduct Industry research. On completion the intern will have attained skills in sales, recruitment, advertisement, social networking, working with a database, time management and organisational skills.
Reports to: Placement Manager
To support the Placement Manager and relevant teams in the planning and
preparation of au pair placements across Ireland.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. To organise placements and support au pairs and families in the placement process.
2. To monitor the progress of au pairs and deal effectively with any issues/concerns that arise.
3. Assist with briefing meetings on a group and individual basis with au pairs and families so that they understand the au pair placement process, the level of support available and are fully equipped to undertake a successful au pair placement.
4. To be familiar with the industry standards.
5. To assist in the distribution of relevant documentation to providers concerning au pair placements.
6. To assist in the development and maintenance of a database.
7. To assist with au pair placement correspondence and telephone enquiries internally and externally.
8. To monitor the progress of au pair placements throughout the year
9. To cover for the Au pair Placement Manager during appropriate meetings when necessary.
10. Willing to undertake training where appropriate.
Essential Qualifications:
• Experience with administration or equivalent
• Good IT skills including word processing and spreadsheets
