Castleknock School of Music (est. 1995) provides music tuition at Castleknock, Carpenterstown and Ongar serving the community of D15. We specialise in early music education and currently have over 700 students at the school.
Guitar / Theory teacher required to deputise from January - May 2020 to teach at CSM
Wednesday afternoon / evening at St. Brigid's National School, Castleknock
The ideal candidate should:
Be highly motivated in their approach to teaching
Have fluent English
Communicate extremely well with children, teenagers and adults
Be punctual, methodical and organised
Be familiar with the RGT guitar syllabus and the RIAM Theory syllabus and workout books
A knowledge of the Kodály approach to teaching is a distinct advantage
Minimum qualifications apply
Teaching experience necessary
