Position: Sales Assistant

The above position includes the following tasks:
• Preparation of confirmation of orders (COO’s); liaison with Sales Managers / Representatives, Applications Dept and Production Dept to ensure that non-standard product, delivery times and terms and conditions are correct.
• Preparation of accurate quotations, assisting in the preparation of detailed commercial proposals
• Correspondence with customers: mail-shots, literature dispatch, drafting of standard emails, letters and faxes
• Maintenance and development of customer/sales database - Salesforce
• Organisation and maintenance of sales filing system
• Maintenance and distribution of standard product price list
• Administration of representatives’ contracts including monitoring contract renewal due dates
• Administrative support of sales team, distributors and US office: documentation, demo / exhibition materials, company news
• Processing of customer enquiries / ad responses
• Contribution to and maintenance of quality procedures for the above areas
High degree of competence in Windows Office software including Word, Advanced Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc. Knowledge of Salesforce CRM software would also be of benefit.
A high level of attention to detail is essential
